Sellers original description:
Triumph TR4A.
This car was featured in Triumph world publication December 2008.
The car has covered less than 20,000 miles from new.
Originally owned by Julia Batman's father it was delivered new in 1966 with Wire wheels, overdrive and a Surry top.
He left the car to Julia on his death.
with 18,300 miles on the clock. the car was stored in a barn until 1996 when a full restoration was started by Warren Kennedy of Classic Restorations.
The Triumph TR4A was totally stripped and a total Nut and bolt restoration was done.
Unfortunately before completion Julia passed away and her Husband Neil Bateman ( some will know of the Husband and wife team from Classic events ie Triumph and the MG spares days, and the restoration shows at Stoneleigh)
Neil put the restoration on hold and it remained in mothballs awaiting his request to complete the car, but unfortunately this was not to happen in his lifetime.
The car passed on and was completed in 2008. Since then it has cover about 800 miles.
Over £40,000 has been spent on this car a full photographic record of the rebuild of probably one of the best TR4A's to come on the market.
