Is this the lowest mileage example in the world outside of the factory?
This car was part of an investment collection for many years and was kept in dry storage.
The car was passed amongst 4 directors of a company as an 'asset' and the current owner has owned the car twice - all of these owners have seen the car as an investment rather than a road car.

Again, the interior is unmarked, there is no wear on any of the leather, dash or steering wheel.
The car looks better than most would have done after just 6 months of use!
Everything works as it should, as per new.
BOOT/UNDERSIDE:
As with the rest of the car, the luggage compartment and engine bay are unmarked and as you would expect to find on a car with such pedigree.
DETAILING:
Alloys are unmarked and calipers are as new. The rear brakes have recently been replaced at a cost of nearly £1500.00. (Please see paperwork and history).
Rear tyres are new and the fronts are 6mm.
PAPERWORK/HISTORY:
Complicated, yet simple...
The history of this car shows it was UK registered in 2001.
It was owned by a collector in Norwich who also owned many other exotic, investment pieces. On his death the collection was broken up and sold off by his family and this car was purchased by the directors of a company, again as an investment/asset.
The car was passed through 4 different directors during this period and any paperwork was put through the company as an expense.
The current owner acquired the turbo in late 2006 and sent it to Merlin Porsche Nottingham, with instruction to verify condition and the mileage to be genuine. They were also told to carry out any required servicing and maintenance.
They reported back that the vehicle was correct to mileage shown and that suspension engine and interior all verified that the car was genuine and had been kept unused or stored.
They also reported to the owner that all filters, spark plugs, oil etc had been changed on the vehicle and were as per new. Never-the-less the current owner still asked for a full lube service with filters and belt change to be carried out, this also including a new battery, and installation of PA2000 Porsche alarm. The invoice for this is with the car and came to £2589. The mileage at this time was - 10,871.
In April 2007 the car was sold and new owner requested a 102 point inspection to be carried out, this was done by Chris at GCR Central in Leicester - a well known Porsche Specialist garage.
This report also noted that condition was correct to the mileage.
The new owner had new rear brakes fitted by Porsche West London on the 7th April 2007 and this came to £1478. The mileage at the time was - 11,814.
On selling the turbo the current owner asked to be given first refusal if the buyer were to re-sell in the future. Exactly one year on this proved to be the case and the car was re-acquired by the current owner.
There are several invoices with the car as well as the ones mentioned above. However due to the nature of the cars investment past, the car does not have an 'annual' record.
The car does come with all the Porsche book pack, books and spare keys as per new.
The MOT's with the car are as follows:
•08/04/2006 - 8,724 miles
•10/04/2007 - 11,837 miles
•15/04/2008 - 14,121 miles
•14/04/2009 - 14,442 miles
Current mileage is 15,300 and we will provide a new MOT should this be required.
The 1998 Porsche 993 Turbo S has just been taxed again and is ready to be enjoyed.
