Model History:
The Sierra is the tenth most popular car to have been sold in Britain, with 1,299,993 units having being sold. The first were sold in October 1982, and stocks lasted for around two years after the end of production - with more than 200 models being sold in 1994.
Interior:
Totally original and unmarked cloth interior, carpets are as new, original Ford optional extra mats are as new, all original stereo with electric aerial works like new, as the car had been dry stored there are no cracks in the dash or fading to any of the internal fittings it truly is as it came out of the showroom. The rear parcel shelf is perfectly straight and has not bowed over the years. All electrics inside and out work perfectly as does the heater.
Exterior:
Beautiful red original paintwork with only a minor scratch here and there from being in storage, there is 1 stone chip on the bonnet which has been touched in. All panels fit like new, the doors are still strong when opening and closing as they have hardly been used. Under the car is rust free as you would expect from being dry stored, there is no rust what so ever on the bodywork. All door locks and petrol filler cap are original working from one key.
Wheels:
Original tyres and unmarked wheel trims, the spare is brand new and has never been on the car.
Engine:
The 2.0L DOHC runs perfectly and is very quiet as you would expect having only covered 8891 miles from new. The 5 speed gear box and clutch work perfectly and again its like driving a new car. The engine is totally dry and has no visible leaks. The engine bay is very clean to show standard.

This Stunning time warp car has been dry stored in excess of 19 years.
It was sold new by Hartford Motors, Hereford on 5th June 1990. First service was carried out by them at 1743 miles on 16th August 1990. The second service was also carried out by Hartford at 7327 miles on 28th May 1991. Some 1600 miles later the car was parked up and put into storage due to the owners ill health where it has remained until now.
This beautiful original and unrestored piece of history has now been fully serviced and mot'd so is ready to be enjoyed for the 2011 show season.
The car comes with both original keys, radio code security card, original V5 log book as its never been changed to the new style, hand books and service record confirming its original 8891 original miles, incredible.
This car is easily worthy of winning any show as it truly is a time warp vehicle. It even has original build stickers on the panels from Ford, I could go on and on about its originality it really is a jaw dropping out of the box car.
To summarise this Sierra is almost the same as the day it left the showroom with no restoration what so ever and no rust! I think it would be very hard to find such an original unrestored car anywhere.
