Here we have a great little Austin Healey Sprite, one of the last ones registered November 1970. They ceased production at the end of 1970 and then carried on from January 1971 till June 1971 as the Austin Sprite. Prior to my ownership it had had 2 new front wings 2 new rear half wings and 2 new sills the floors have been welded and are very strong. As seen in the photos the car looks lovely and drives great. It has a fully rebuilt engine 1275cc receipt available, which has only covered approx 100 miles. The gearbox and axle have been serviced ie oil changed. The list for new parts fitted is as follows these are new parts with receipts available. The engine is the original unit that was fitted from new all the numbers match.
The Austin Healey looks stunning in old English white with black trim no rattles or bangs this is a very tight great fun drive.
Engine rebuild, including oil pump and clutch rebore new pistons main & big end bearings shells and shims core plugs valves recut & refaced.
New steering rack, front shocks rear telescopic shocks, new spring shackles, new full copper brake pipe set with goodrich competition stainless steel braided brake hoses. New stainless steel braided clutch hose. New clutch slave cylinder new kingpins track rod ends and front brake discs and pads new rear drums and shoes including handbrake cable new fuel pump new fuel sender unit new speedo cable new suspension bushes new trim carpets seats and full boot carpet new hood it also has a full tonneau cover also in good order. The list goes on !
