Sellers original description:

Mercedes-Benz 260E 1990/H. One lady owner from new.

An outstanding one owner from new mercedes W124 series finished in pearl grey with black leather interior, and unmarked walnut fascia (not even scratched let alone cracked)

Supplied by County Garage of Cheltenham from new, this car is totally original, it still has the original rear window sticker (pic) tax disc holder and numberplates, along with all 3 keys with the dealer keyrings, every single handbook and original PDI sheet in the clear MB folder which itself still looks like new. Quite incredible.

Outside the car the paintwork is immaculate, it has not fallen victim to the usual W124 rot and corrosion and has also not been subjected to lots of nasty paintwork/repairs it still looks vibrant and very fresh, along with the wheels which have 4 almost new Good Year tyres, and 4 original MB mudflaps, underneath it is solid and has just had a new rear section exhaust.

Inside the car it shows virtually no wear at all, the front seats still feel and look new, the rear seats look as if they have been rarely used, headlining all clean and intact, dashboard free from any cracks and holes from old mobile phone cradles, the walnut is still dark and virtually new even around the gearshift and elec window switches, this car also benefits from the centre section being a locking roller type finished in walnut, not to mention the original Blaupunkt montreal radio cassette all working perfectly, it looks fantastic and so much better than any modern day stereo by far, this was possibly a £500 option in this car when new, along with the external temperature reading all working as it should.

To drive, the car feels tight and starts without any issues, the gearbox changes perfectly even when it is cold (not hanging onto gear changes like some do) there are no leaks from the engine or gearbox and oil pressure is correct, it is actually one of the best examples ive driven without fail.

To summarise, if you are reading this then you do not need me to tell you about MB W124 series, the most over engineered car of its time, the most expensive car of its time in this class, and by far the best mercedes that mercedes have ever made, even by todays standards you cannot compare a new E Class to these cars, these are in a different league, and now finding a good, original, immaculate example such as this are increasingly rare, and are costing £5000+.
