Let me introduce you to this wonderful little 1981 MG Midget who has been my late step fathers car for the past 20 years. Known in our family as ‘Emma’ after Lady Emma Hamilton who was the mistress of Lord Nelson (my step father was a Fleet Chief in the Royal Navy) she has been to many rallies and has helped my Mum & Dad enjoy their retirement.
She was the subject of a fully documented restoration which was started at 37391 miles in September 1990 and completed at 38819 miles in July 1993, my father subsequently purchased her in August 1993 and kept a log of every expense, repair and MOT to date – the history and restoration folder are nearly 2’’ thick!
No faults, no corrosion & nothing hidden – we are simply looking for a new and suitable custodian for her.
