Vehicle History: My MG was originally purchased by a member of the armed forces in Germany. It was supplied by F-UK (Forces UK) and financed by Armed Services Finance Ltd. Soon after purchasing the MG the owner was posted back to the UK and applied to the Armed Service Finance Company to take back possession of the car. The finance company returned the MG to the UK and retailed it. The purchaser immediately put the MG into storage where it remained unregistered until last summer. The MG was removed from storage last summer and the task of registering it in the UK began.

Firstly the car was fully serviced and inspected. The MG was in excellent mechanical condition and required only a good service and a new alternator. And a good valet. There were a couple of small scuffs on the car which were repaired. On the 12/07/2012 the MG was submitted for an MOT test. It was refused as both front headlights required adjustment. This was rectified and retested. The MG passed with no advisories. The mileage reading at the MOT was 2140.

A Type Approval Letter was requested from the MG Rover Group along with a new EEC Certificate of Approval. All the papers were submitted to the DVLA together with an application to register the car. All checks were carried out including verification of the mileage and a new registration document was issued on the 28/08/2012.

Exterior Condition: “Zero Rust “With the exception of perhaps a very small chip. The exterior panels and paint work on my MG is quite exceptional. The bonnet, Boot Lid, wings and door panels are all in near perfect unmarked condition. Looking down the side of the car every single panel has a glass like finish. All the door checks are clean and polished and the sill treads are completely unmarked. The underside of my MG is also immaculate. All the Glass, light lenses and trims are in perfect condition. The inner wheel arches are like new.

Interior Condition: The interior of my car is quite stunning. It’s like stepping into a brand new car. The original MG Carpets are perfect and show little sign of use. The half Leather Seats are perfect. The rear seats and the front passenger seat are virtually unused. All the dash materials are like new. My MG has not been a smoker’s car and the cigar lighter and ash tray has never been used. I can’t stress enough how nice the interior is. “It is as new”.

Engine Compartment: All the panels are free from dust and oil. The engine bay is as nice as the day it left the factory. “See my pictures”.

Boot Compartment: Quite immaculate and showing little sign of being used. The Factory tool kit jack and brace is still in the wrapper. It has never been opened. The spare wheel and locking wheel nut is present.

Alloy Wheels and Tyres: Quite immaculate condition. The 16”5 Spoke Alloy Wheels were a factory option. You won’t find as much as a chip on the alloys. In fact the alloy wheel inner rims are equally nice. They still retain the factory high gloss finish. All four tyres have a huge amount of tread depth remaining and will last for years to come.

On The Road: My car starts first time every time. As soon as you drive off you will realise how good this car is. It drives as good as the day it left the factory. The engine is quiet and powerful. The gears change smoothly up and down the gear box and the steering and suspension is tight. The brakes, electrics and all mechanics are in perfect working order. Just as you would expect from such a low miles car.

This is a really Stunning MG ZR Model. It has the 1.4 Engine which gives excellent fuel consumption and has good power. The engine mechanics and all electrical options are in perfect working order. The paint work and the body panels are exceptional. The Interior is like new and the engine compartment and boot is the same. The alloy wheels are stunning.

My MG was last serviced at 2140 miles and has covered less than 3000 miles since. The next A service is due July 2013. The mot is valid until August 2013. So the car is ready to be driven away and enjoyed.

One of the best 2002 ZR models in the country. My car is as good as you will find.
