My Lexus was serviced and fully inspected last week prior to Listing.
Two private owners since new: The first owner Mr Walmsley would own the Lexus for just over two years and return the car to Lexus Carlisle for all servicing work. The second owner Mr Morton purchased the Lexus from the supplying dealer Lexus Carlisle while still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Delivery date 08/12/2004. Mr Morton would also have the car serviced and maintained only by the supplying dealer.
Exterior Condition: Supa Guard treated from new and it shows: The bodywork of my Lexus IS200 SE is quite exceptional. With the exception of perhaps a very small chip you will be hard pushed to find fault. The exterior panels and paint work is in stunning condition. Looking down the side of the car every panel has a glass like finish. Every panel is quite perfect. No supermarket dints, bumper scuffs to be seen. All the door checks are immaculate and polished and the sill treads are unmarked. All the glass is in perfect condition. Please see my pictures.
Interior Condition: Supa Guard treated from new: A non smoker’s car from new. The cloth roof lining is immaculate and unmarked. The floor carpets are immaculate and have a deep pile. The rear seats and carpets look almost new. The front passenger seat compartment is similar. The driver’s seat compartment is quite exceptional and shows very little sign of use. All the materials are like new. I can’t stress enough how nice the interior is. It is like sitting in a new car.
Boot Compartment: Supa Guard treated from new: Quite immaculate and showing little sign of ever being used. The floor carpets are like new and the black plastic trims are free from scuffs. The spare wheel tools and locking wheel nut key are all present. The spare wheel is a full size alloy and original. It has never been on the car.
Engine Compartment: Quite amazing. All the panels are free from dust and oil. Having recently been shampooed and finished with a quality silicone polish.
Alloy Wheels and Tyres: The alloy wheels are in immaculate condition. You won’t find a single kerb mark. (See my Pictures). The rear tyres have good tread depth and will be good for many miles. The front tyres are brand new last month.
On the Road: My Lexus IS200 drives as you would expect a well maintained Lexus should. Turn the key and the engine bursts into life. The first thing you will notice is the lack of engine noise. Stop at the traffic lights and you won’t hear her running. The steering feels taught and positive. The suspension is firm and comfortable. The engine runs smooth and revs freely. The gears change up and down the box with ease. The clutch works perfectly. Everything works just fine.
This is a really special and well cared for car. It has wanted for nothing. It has the 2.0 Engine which gives excellent fuel consumption and has good performance, 153bhp. The engine mechanics and all electrical options are in perfect working order. The car drives as it left the factory. Testimony to the excellent servicing schedule. The exterior bodywork is quite exceptional and the Interior is amazing. The engine compartment is a sight to behold and boot compartment is perfect.
My Lexus wants for nothing. The Mot isn’t due until July next year and I have just had her serviced. The next service isn’t due until September next year or longer if you are a low miles driver. Other than some tax there is nothing for the new owner to do but drive her away and enjoy.
