Quite simply, a one off opportunity to acquire a true concours example of the Golf MK3 Cabriolet.
It is my opinion that this car is too good to be used and really should be kept in a museum / show collection.
This vehicle has had one former keeper, two lady owners from new, originally supplied in Australia to first lady owner who brought the car over to the UK... car was sold when it was 3 years old to its owner who has asked us to advertise it on her behalf.
This car has covered a totally genuine 15k KM from new... and has a full service history upto 15k KM when it was last used in 2005 and the car has been garaged ever since and started and driven occassionally and the car has been kept in a large dry garage under a cover.
If you want a totally genuine and correct example, which is a concours winner... just take to a VW show and WIN.
I have described this as concours, so unmarked roof, unmarked alloys, body and interior... the devil is in the detail, spare tyre unused etc ie look at rear brake drums as new... true timewarp stuff.
This car has come from a lovely home and an exceptionally nice part of South Bucks... it has lived in Chalfont St Giles and Radnage from new and was bought as a summer toy by its current owner who is only looking to part with it due to pending lack of garage space.
The car is near new condition throughout if you like your VWs.
