This has been one of our most pleasurable restorations to date, this ex-californian rust free ghia, enjoyed its life till 2011 in glorious sunshine. Over its 40 years, in original Irish Green Paintwork, signs were crying out for a makeover. I personally selected this car from its owner of 27 years, who enjoyed owning the ghia, used as a daily driver back and for to work, which was a round journey of 3 miles!!!
I could see huge potential and was eager to snap this ghia up the same day I viewed the car.
We stripped the car back in summer 2011 and off the car went to paint over a period of 6 Months!!!!
As we had a few other projects on the go, we did not rush the car and took time locating original genuine parts in order to finish the car back to its "as new" condition!! Absolutely Beautiful!!!!
