Museum quality Dec 1977 chrome bumpered Mk1 polo in silver.
I bought this gem as a 17th birthday present for my daughter...
After getting stung for a grand buying a later car on here that looked clean & turned out to be rotten as many of these are,.....
So spent months scouring the country until this one came up..
It was basically a 1 owner car,...an old man who was stopping driving had it garaged from day one.....
He shed a tear when he let it go as this was his baby,....so as you can imagine,
Full VW service history from his local workshop all stamped up in the little orange VW booklet ,all 35'000 miles,
It is mint in every way,..i will put more pic's up asap,
IT HAS THE EARLY DASH & SUPER RARE SEAT BELT CLASPS...
Iv'e had it serviced by a guy i know who is a mk1 golf nut,...he replaced all the normal electrical components that modern classics suffer with,
It has been very slightly lowered 30mm,just to stop any of the slight bobbling they have when sitting high,..
But original shocks only cost £50 if the new owner so required,
Brand new rubber & brakes all round & mot'd about oct with NO recommendations,
The fabric on the seats have Zero wear & is only loose & needs pulling tight again (very common on the 70's vw cloth )
Carpets have had rubber matts on from new.
Only needs a new bootlid shock absorber support.
