Probably only about 20 1.4L Cavaliers left on the road. This one was one owner and dealer serviced until September 2012 with only 29600miles at that time. I've done nearly 8000 miles since. It went straight through the MOT with no preparation and no advisories. It averages 44mpg and costs £140 a year to tax. It is in insurance group 6 and could be insured as a classic. At 29000 miles it had a major cambelt service with all fluids changed and I gave it an oil service in September this year. The tyres are all good Michelins and the exhaust is just over a year old. The whole car is absolutely standard and in very good condition. There is some rust appearing on the rear arches but not much. The car drives superbly and is surprisingly lively. On test it did 107mph and 0-60 in 12.9 secs. The specification is quite good: central locking, 6-speaker radio cassette, height adjustable driver's seat and tilt & slide sunroof. This is a truly practical classic being extremely easy to work on with the clutch removable with the gearbox in situ, no fuel injection or catalytic converter and bags of space under the bonnet. Spares are very inexpensive. Note that there is no power steering and no electric windows but it does have a 5-speed gearbox! Find another!
