This White 1974 Vaxhall Viva is 'next to new' in absolutely pristine condition as has spent most of its life under cover in a garage being driven only to keep it ticking over therefore only done 12600 miles. It was owned by my late father in law who bought it in next to new condition and then the car was past onto us, therefore we are its 3rd owners - with proof of this in the regestration documents.
My Father in law was a precision engineer and this car was his pride and joy, he meticulously dismantled the vehicle- cleaned, painted, rustproofed everything and rebuilt it with stainless steel nuts and bolts. The whole of the exhaust system is stainless steel and no rust on the vehicle anywhere - it is possibly the best example anywhere around (literally showroom quality) and viewing is fully welcomed. First to see with an interest in classic cars will most certainly buy.
It drives very well as we have recently taxed and MOT'd it and taken it to Derbyshire (from Yorkshire and back to our garage) to use as our wedding car in August 2011 (see pictures). It makes a great wedding car or car to enter (and win!) classic car competitions.
Unfortunately neither myself or my husband have the same passion for classic cars and so with regret we are letting it go. We have all the documents needed to prove its mileage etc.
