1958 Triumph TR3A Race Car.
This is a well known race car which has successfully competed in various race championships, over many decades, including: Thoroughbreds, Swinging 60’s, TR Register, HSCC, Top Hat and Masters.
Engine: 2198cc Full steel engine on Twin 45 DCOE Webers, Lightened and Balanced, 89mm forged pistons, Steel crank, Carillo rods, Four branch exhaust manifold, Lightweight Steel Flywheel, Revs to 7,600rpm, Produces circa 170bhp at the rear wheels and has just had a refresh.
Transmission: 4 speed Dogbox, Twin Plate Clutch, LSD.
Chassis: Spax adjustable front dampers, Upgraded rear lever arms, Anti roll bar, Lowered and Stiffened Coil Springs.
Body: GRP panelled with the exception of Steel Doors. Safety Devices Rollover Protection, Cobra Monaco Seat with Sabelt 5 point harness, Extinguisher system, Battery cut off device, Transponder, Foam filled fuel tank, Facet fuel pump.
A small spares package will come with the car, to include spare steel body panels and wheels and tyres.
The car is on the button and ready to compete in 2012. It is tax exempt and road legal, though the MOT has recently expired.
