Sellers original description:

This is my wonderful & rare (in UK) Toyota Crown Royal Saloon. The car was selected & imported especially for me by Algy’s Auto’s Ltd in 2009. (http://www.algysautos.com). This car is very well equipped with many modern luxuries, including Digital Climate Controlled Air Conditioning , electric adjustable front seats, electric folding door mirrors, light but positive Power Steering and power windows on all four doors. Everything works! The radio cassette has been replaced by me with a truly superb Kenwood GPS Satellite Navigation unit. This plays CD’s & DVD movies on a 16:9 ratio screen. The speaker system is original & includes the rear shelf sub speaker. The sound quality is really excellent. This super low mileage car is finished in a lovely Aqua marine green/blue mica metallic over silver blue. The colour actually changes according to ambient light from a bluish hue on a cloudy day to green metallic in the sun. The coachwork is regularly waxed and defies the age of the car. I can’t see any parking dents and only two or three very minor scratches. The interior is luxuriously furnished in a modern type of velour (not actually old 70’s velour, but a super-soft modern equivalent). This is the choice of luxury cars for the Japan home market. Cool in summer & warm & snug in winter. The Crown is super-smooth to drive with lovely suspension, while retaining good handling. Seats are very comfortable. The drives seat has a great deal of adjustment (all electric), including a lot of height adjustment if required and all at a touch of a button. There is a great deal of head room available in this car. The car is completely RUST FREE and will stay that way. Toyota cracked this in the very early 90’s. I also paid extra for the importer to Waxoil the underneath & in the body cavities. This was done before a collected the car from Bristol. She was already rust fee and worth noting the Japanese do not use salt on their roads.I had the car serviced most recently in February 2013, including replacing the CAM BELTS. She does not leak any fluids or use any oil. This service also included changing the crank seals and rocker cover gasket. Spare parts are easily obtainable from Toyota GB via Toyota dealers. Just quote the chassis number and you are fine. Many parts are shared with other Toyota & Lexus models and body panels can come from Japan in under 2 weeks.I use an import specialist for insurance (the excellent & very helpful A-plan insurance) and the cost is similar to a late model Mercedes E Class. The build quality on this car is the best I have ever come across. I have owned several Mercedes E Class & S Class cars from the 80’s &90’s, but this car is a better product and will last longer than any vintage Mercedes. This is a rare opportunity to own an individual & iconic Japanese car with classic American hardtop styling. The car is very easy to drive & park, totally reliable and will get you noticed. I have owned this car for 4 years, which is longer than any other car I have ever had. I also have two other cars so; I can’t really continue to justify keeping my wonderful Crown.
