Sellers original description:
Only 23 of these super-cars were ever built & only a handful are thought to be left in UK. Designed by the legendary Ray Christopher famed for his development of the GT40 project (GTD Developments). He was also joined by Derek Bell (4 times Le Mans winner) to see this project through.
The chassis is an extremely rigid composite monocoque design with a body fabricated from carbon reinforced composite sandwich materials giving it a weight of just 1,250 Kgs. Performance is pretty spectacular too as it is fitted with Ford's all alloy 4.6 `Cobra` V8 which has quad cams & 32 valves, producing 350 bhp @5900 rpm with 405 lbs./ft torque. Mated to a six speed Getrag transaxle and mid-mounted it gives a 0-60 time of a stonking 4 seconds & a top speed of 175 mph!!!
Suspension is a fully adjustable & rose jointed double wishbone arrangement with AP racing brakes. It has a few mod cons. too such as air con. PAS, electric windows & mirrors and a safety roll cage. It has ZR 235/45 &335/35 X 17" alloys with Good Year Eagle tyres.
The interior is finished in sumptuous black leather & alcantara with carbon fibre trimmings. Wilton carpets in black & Blaupunkt stereo. Clifford alarm. Exterior is in brilliant silver metallic.
Cost new was circa £70,000 and several of these cars had a racing career so may not now be in existance. Most of the others went abroad. It is an absolutely stunning car to look at with handling that is near perfect. Only 1 owner from new. Excellent investment potential. Highly recommended.
