One family ownership and genuine 19,314 miles from new.
Finished in the attractive Zircon Blue with Sandlewood leather interior.
Purchased by Harold J Morris on 10th May 1967 from Mann Egerton London Road Derby and owned by him until he passed away in 1984. The mileage at this time was just 16,000 miles. Mr Morris clearly cherished his Rover 2000.
The car still has the original factory paint and panelwork which is in remarkable condition. Chromework is also excellent. The base unit is original and untouched.
Factory fitted extras include heated rear window and radial tyres. Dealer fitted extras were front seat head restraints, front and rear overriders and very rare export specification body side mouldings.
Mr Morris was a highly skilled electrical engineer at Rolls Royce Derby and has added his personal touch to this Rover P6 with many extras including electric front windows, electric radio aerial and auxiliary instruments. All these have been fitted to a very high standard. A discreet custom made tool kit is also fitted in the boot.
Complete with makers literature pack, workshop manual, sales brochure and numerous items of interesting literature relating to this car. Mot tested until March 2011.
