This unique car in AS NEW Condition which has only covered 24,600 miles from new and has been stored in a heated garage for most of its life. It has recently been re-commissioned with a new battery and passed its MOT with absolutely no advisories. The car is like new inside, outside and underneath and is in totally original immaculate condition. The only thing that could be improved are some of the original alloy wheels need which refinishing as the lacquer has come off in places. These will cost around 40 pounds each to be done by a specialist. Other than this the car is absolutely immaculate , including engine bay, boot etc.
The beige/ colour striped fabric seats and matching interior are unworn (see photographs) and the black hood is as new and the shtrays are unused as the car has never been smoked in . The second (lady) owner purchased the car from City Motors (Bristol Main Renault Dealer) showroom in 1994 when it was 2 years old and had covered around 9,000 miles, since when it has done only 15,000 miles on dry sunny days only.
The only non-original parts are the stainless steel exhaust which was fitted a few years ago , brakes hoses (replaced) ,tyres (changed around 5000 miles ago) battery (new) and earth strap. The original tools and manuals, service book, old MOTs etc etc are all present and the mileage is guaranteed to be 100% accurate. The car drives like a 2 year old car and is absolutely faultless mechanically with power steering and 5 speed gearbox. The 24,000 mile service is now due and t may also be advisable to change the timing belt due to its age ( rather than mileage).
There are 2 sets of original keys with immobilizer and even the number pates are original. The car is being sold now due to house move and lack of dry storage. Unfortunately, it is irreplaceable, other than to purchase a new Meggane convertible or equivalent which would cost upwards of 20,000 pounds.
