1955 Morris Minor split screen van, restored to show condition, Minor monthly, van and pickup monthly and lcv magazine featured.
This vehicle has been the subject of a seven year extensive and meticullous restoration with many upgrades.
Total body/chassis strip down bead blasted inside and out including the chassis. The rebuild was carried out using many genuine new old stock bmc panels, all body panels and frame were sprayed separately before final assembly, all have recieved a thorough waxoyl rustproofing, a photo record of the rebuild comes with the van.
The upgrades are as follows: 1275cc reconditioned 'a' plus engine with unleaded head, mini heater, marina pedal box with hydraulic clutch, servo assisted brakes with marina disc brakes, wolseley differential, girling front telescopic shock absorber conversion, girling dampers on the rear, five later four and half j wheels with 165x14 radial tyres, post office metal door cards front and rear and a cheese grater grille not correct i know but nicer!!.
Other items replaced include: new wiring loom, recon radiator and hoses, recovered seats, new carpets ect.
This Morris Minor split screen van is 100% reliable, drives perfectly with excellent road manners and copes well in modern traffic conditions.
