This is a very rare opportunity to acquire what will be one of the lowest mileage Morris Minors in existence.
The mileage on the car is 6170 and after speaking to the dealer who first bought it and sold it in 1956 when it was a few weeks old with delivery mileage on it, bought it back in the early 1980's and stored it for nearly 30 years before restoring it during 2009 /2010 and selling it again in 2012, we believe that this extremely low mileage reading is correct.
The buyer will be given the contact details for this long established dealer and the documentary evidence that convinces us that the mileage will be correct.
The history file also contains the invoices for the 2010 restoration which details the costs for four new wings, tyres, exhaust, battery, water pump, brake pipes, brake cylinders, master cylinder, bumpers, hub caps, carpets and rubbers etc.
It has one of the best, most original undersides of any of the thirty examples that we have offered for sale in the past four years. We have examined it from underneath and cannot find any evidence that the floorpan has ever been subject to welding repairs. It needs to be seen to be appreciated.
