1986 MG Metro.
I have owned the car for just under a year, but have now decided to downsize my collection of low mileage 1970s and 80s classics.
The car is a MK2 metro and has had a very quiet life, I have the MOTs from 1989 onwards confirming the low mileage. The car is rust free, has an immaculate interior with the original red seat belts, drives just as a MG Metro would have done in 1986 and has a stereo radio cassette fitted and some 80s tapes.
It has recently been serviced, had the MOT renewed and the suspension pumped up. It is ready to drive away and enjoy or keep in storage and perhaps keep the 500 miles a year average going.
If you want to enter shows, it just needs a wash and polish, to make it a likely winner there are two small paint issues. One below the petrol filler the factory underseal has been washed away by spills and on the passenger door there are a couple of areas where the top paint has lifted, but there is no rust.
So an ultra low mileage rust free A1 MG Metro, which will probably sell for the price of a rusty Mini 1275GT !
