This is a genuine MGB GT, with a very low mileage of 22,490 supported by a fair number of previous MOT certificates. It is tax exempt, with historic vehicle status.
It was first registered to a lady driver in February 1972, and then sold to a man in the same village in 1980. He used it for 28 years until his death, and my wife bought it as her second car in 2008.
The bodywork is very good for its age, and has been carefully maintained. The interior is original ‘autumn leaf’ trim, and the original radio is available if desired, although we have replaced it with a CD/radio unit.
Five new tyres were fitted recently, and a new battery. There is a stainless steel exhaust system.
The car is reliable, drives well, and has overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears. It has always been garaged, and used only in good weather.
