Sellers original description:
A stunning car in Blaze Orange having covered only 16,264 miles from new with service history, old MOT certificates and original MG / British Leyland passport service book. The documentation and dates and mileages all indicate the correct mileage today of 16,264 as being accurate. There is a signed and dated letter in the document file from the original owner, stating that he sold it on 12th June 1986 at 12,492 miles and that it was his personal property from new and that he was the only driver. The original owner Mr. Hayes was the proprietor of Parbold Service Station, being the MG dealer that supplied the car new.

This car is in original superb condition, it appears that it has not had any replacement panels or floor pans and is thoroughly waxoyled underneath, it is totally original throughout and rust free. It does not appear to have had any welding at all.
In September 1973, 1974 model year cars were introduced these cars had chassis numbers 328101 to 360069.
September 1974 on ‘Soft Nose’ models introduced with ‘rubber bumpers’ these cars had chassis numbers 360301 to 367919.
This car is chassis number 340400, therefore making it a last of the chrome bumper 1974 model year car, as per the chassis plate, the DVLA V5 and the Heritage Certificate.
Without doubt this is the lowest mileage MGB Roadster we have ever had, and by far the best we have ever driven. A superb collectors car, in very good condition throughout, very useable and a unique opportunity to invest in part of our British Motoring Heritage.
