This superb example of the Mercury Cougar XR7 was restored in California in 2007 including respray in its original factory colour to Lime Frost Metallic Green. First registered 01/01/1967. First Registered UK 06/12/2006. MOT to April 2014. Tax to March 2014 (free).
The paintwork quality is superb for the age of the car with all chrome & stainless trims in excellent condition. The vinyl roof is in perfect condition. The matching upholstery throughout is in beautiful condition with no rips or tears. The lovely bodywork is pin straight. All 6 interior lights and roof console working as they should. Standard dashboard apart from temperature, volt & oil pressure gauges.
302 small block V8 engine. Edelbrock performer heads, manifold & aluminium rocker covers. Demon carburettor. Polished aluminium dual air-filter. MSD 6AL ignition with pro-billet distributor & red 8mm Taylor leads. Silicone water hoses. Griffin alloy radiator with twin thermostatically controlled fans with manual over-ride. Filter King fuel pressure regulator. Electric high capacity fuel pump. fully rebuilt gearbox in 2011 with new bands, reverse clutch & HPI upgrade kit.
Power front disc brakes. Chrome Tri-Y headers. Dual 2.5" exhaust system with Flowmasters & stainless tips. Rear air shocks. Centreline alloy wheels. Cooper Cobra radial G/T tyres. No PAS.
Working sequential rear lights and working headlight covers.
