My Mercedes 320E was first registered on the 1st August 1990 to a gentleman from Aberdeen. The Supplying Mercedes-Benz agent at the time was Callanders Mercedes of Aberdeen. He would own the Mercedes for three years and have all servicing work undertaken by the Mercedes Main Agent. On the 26th October 1993 ownership would pass to Mr and Mrs Donald. Once again the Mercedes was purchased from the original supplying dealer Callanders. The purchase price was £17245 and the mileage was 37555. The Mercedes would remain in their ownership for the next twenty years and average only 1850 miles per year. Mrs Donald gave up driving a few years ago and finally decided to part with her. I was fortunate enough to be offered the Mercedes.
This Mercedes has never been smoked in. Has never been accident damaged. Has never been driven in the winter months and has always been garaged. It has been extremely well cared for and is totally original.

Documentation: My Mercedes will be supplied with the original book pack including: Owners Manual, Dealer Directories. Touring Guarantee Booklet, Mercedes-Benz Approved Warranty Booklet and Stamped Service Book. I also have the V5 document, a very recent mot certificate and two keys.
A General and Honest Description of this wonderful old Mercedes.
On the Road: The car starts on the first turn of the key and the drive is excellent. The automatic gears change smoothly and almost unnoticeably. The engine runs quietly and smoothly. (I have just completed a 200 mile trip). The steering is tight and positive and the suspension and ride is wonderful. The brake pads and discs are in excellent condition and work perfectly. There are no mechanical or electrical issues at all. My Mercedes performs just as the manufacturer intended it to. There are no faults at all.
The Boot Compartment: Clean and dry. The Grey Carpets are immaculate and showing little signs of use. I have additional pictures with the carpets removed, please ask. The spare is a full size wheel. The jack, brace and warning triangle is all where it should be.
The engine compartment: The engine and surrounding interior panels are free from oil and dirt and in very nice order. See my pictures. .
Interior: The roof lining material is quite perfect with no marks, stains or fading. The seats are also in fabulous order and show no signs of wear at all. All the electrical options work perfectly. The dash, doors and centre console materials are perfect and all the wood is highly polished and completely unmarked. The carpets are in equally wonderful condition. The original factory mats are in the car and have gone a long way in keeping the interior perfect. (A second set of mats covered the optional over mats keeping them in near new condition as well). It is genuinely like sitting in a brand new car. See my Pictures.
Wheels and Tyres: The steel wheels are immaculate and even free of brake dust as the hub caps are removed when cleaning. The hub caps are in excellent condition with only a very minor blemish. The tyres are all quality branded Continentals and have excellent tread depth.
Body Work and General Condition: Please see my pictures. My 230E Class has spent the last 20 years garaged. Really only driven between spring and autumn and seldom used at all. Hence, the low miles. Lots of maintenance and care has gone into keeping the car looking this nice. With the exception of perhaps a very odd chip which has been carefully touched in. Every single panel has a mirror like finish and completely free of the usual every day dents and scratches. The underside is clean, dry and solid. All the jacking points are perfect. My E Class is really in quite exceptional condition.
So what are you buying? A Very low mileage and very collectable Mercedes 230E Class W124. It’s the pre face lift model so there is no biodegradable wiring to be concerned about. The mechanics and electrics are in perfect working order. The interior is in quite stunning condition as is the boot and the engine compartment is gleaming. All the door checks are spotless as are the sills perfect. I have just had the car serviced and a complete inspection front to back. There is nothing left for the new owner to do. Just drive her away and admire.
