SUMMARY:
Finding a good 190E is becoming more and more difficult these days, finding an exceptional, low mileage 190E's is becoming nigh on impossible, however from time to time, cars like this come along, made even more attractive as this is one of the limited edition "LE" models, made to celebrate (some, including myself, would say mourn) the passing of the what I think was the best car Mercedes have made in the last 30 years.
This is just a two owner car, originally supplied by Speeds Mercedes-Benz of Stratford-on-Avon, and some twenty years on, still carrying it's "Speeds" window sticker. It was bought new by a haulage company owner, to be used by his wife. It was initially registered in the business's name, and subsequently transferred it to the ownership of his wife after around eight years. This lady effectively owned and drove the car from new, and kept it for a total of nineteen years, selling it in late 2012.
The car has been used very sparingly, and looked after very well indeed. All old MOT certificates are present in the large history binder to substantiate the low mileage, as well as lots of other invoices and a stamped up service book. Naturally, also included is the full Mercedes book pack, containing all manuals etc supplied with the car when new. This 190LE also carries quite a valuable registration number, which has been assigned to it since new.
