The 3.4 engine was the strongest and most reliable engine out of the 3 they put in the Mk2.
This car has only 2 owners from new.
Opalescent silver blue with navy hide (the best colour scheme and way ahead of its time)
Brand new set of chrome wire wheels and spinners , brand new rechromed front and rear bumpers , over riders and front grill ,upgraded front discs and brakes by girling.
Original dunlop brakes to the rear.
Engine totally stripped top and bottom and rebuilt to unleaded conversion by bob bate of r.G. Bate engineering.
All new water hoses fitted , engine bay painted same as exterior.
Bare metal respray and full documented rebuild over past 11 years with photos and bill receipts from day one.
An original brand new never been used moss gearbox fitted with a brand new matching overdrive unit.
Drives superbly and is a joy to drive.
Full stainless steel exhaust system and sounds great.
Dynamo upgraded to alternator to accomodate the heated front and rear windscreens.
All woodwork inside the car has been totally restored at a cost of over £2300 alone and is like glass.
Original leather navy blue seats and matching navy wool carpet and mats with pale blue piping by Aldridge trimming of Wolverhampton.
