This 1985 Ford Capri 2.0 Laser is better than new with over 350 hours of extensive detailing, the engine bay, completely painting of the underside and inside the wheel arches in the stunning body colour diamond white. The drive train and suspension have also been detailed and are in perfect working order.
The original RS style alloy wheels have been refurbished to the highest standard with almost new tyres, the spare wheel is totally original and has never been fitted to the car.
This car has never been welded, plated or ever had any new panels. Its never been accident damaged both front wings are original and still supporting there unique 3 letter Ford stamp hence the panel gaps and lines along the car are perfect as the day it was new.
The car comes with the original bill of sale and every ford service receipt and MOT from new, there Is a comprehensive history building a catalogue of data supporting its genuine 46k mileage from new.
The car has been kept in a temperature controlled and dehumidified garage for most of its 24 years hence its amazing genuine rot/rust free condition.
The car has all of its original features and are in fully working order, there are no dash splits, heater fan is quiet and works on both speeds, original radio, original working electric aerial, leather steering wheel and gear knob, boot spoiler shows no signs of perishing etc etc, it still has the original single Ford key that operates the ignition and opens all doors and boot, the perfection list goes on and on.
The gearbox prop and diff are smooth in operation with no whining, the engine runs perfectly with perfect oil pressure the car has the original weber 32/36 carb fitted, the car has recently had a full service including timing belt and new water pump.
This Ford Capri can only be described as the very best you can find, it has won many awards including best at show 80's category and 1st prize on three occasions when entered into concourse competitions the car has also been displayed on the Classic Ford fair this year.
