Unique and totally original timewarp example of a 1971 ' J ' Mk1 Ford Escort 1300l auto 4 door in original ermin white with complimentary black interior.
This is a genuine export shell with large battery tray, tram bars.
This Escort Mk1 has lived in monaco all of its life (dry climate) and has had 1 lady owner from new and covered a genuine 34,287 kms (approx 21,000 miles!!!!!!)
The car still retains all its original body panels and has never been welded , like any car of this age, it has had some minor cosmetic body repairs, i.E. A few minor road chip touch ins, and work undertaken detailing the engine bay, but please remember, this car is 41 years old, and in this time that is pretty amazing.
The interior of this escort is truly like new the carpets, seats look like they have never been used - this is a genuine unabused piece of history (very rare original front reclining seats) the interior has no sun damage or scuffs/rips or tears - even the steering wheel is unworn and the paint is still shiny!
The wheels are the original 4.5 inch with 4 good tyres, the wheels have been repainted due to age, the paint had faded, but now look fantastic.
This Ford Escort still retains its original factory applied paint underneath. And has just been fully waxolyled.
This car starts first turn of the key and has just undergone a full service replacing the distributor cap, leads, condensor, contact points, rotor, water pump, fan belt, oil and filter, upper and lower water hoses, fuel pipe, and radiator cap to mention a few. The engine is like new, and very sweet, as you would expect for such a low mileage example
The engine bay is also like brand, the original ford/french manufacturing labels are still present, the strut tops are like new and have never been welded nor do they need any, the engine compartment has recently been detailed to compliment its originality.
The boot is again like new complete with its original unused spare wheel/tyre original tool kit and boot mat the boot floor still retains its original ford labels and is like brand new.
