Just testing the water on what has to be the most unique and unmolested escort popular 1.3 ohv in the uk!
She has covered 25k miles from new with all mots to prove, the original bill of sale and loads of history and the no'plates match the bill of sale,this car has never seen a painter,a welder or any other repair and has no sunroof,although comes with s2 rs wheels with brand new toyo prox tyres I also have the original steels with the original Dunlop tyres from new,yes from new hard to believe and the spare has never been fitted and matches the other 4!
as you can see the car is very near concours condition and yes has never been restored all original as ford intended,went straight through mot today no advisories the garage said they have never seen one like this and were speechless,also taxed today so ready to go!
the car has has a few mods but are all reversible,comes with s2 rs wheels and brand new toyo prox tyres that have covered less than a mile to and from mot station,rs steering wheel and a cd player,at some time has had windows tinted not my taste but shall leave in as professionally done,full cobra sport stainless exhaust system specially fabricated at their workshop for the car and has been lowered and stainless steel bonnet stay,strut tops and sill protectors,other than that all original!
I have done and seen and owned alot of fords in my time and to be honest has left me speechless owning this one and as I say I don't think you will find better!
am only selling as I have another project on the go and have no room to keep indoors so not fair on the gem,i will put into storage if doesn't sell but would like to offer the opportunity for someone to own a piece of Dagenham history that as we all know will double in value in a few years, there are a few rs turbo's like this but who looks after the most basic escort that ford did? fair play who has preserved this one.
