Here we have a stunning Ford Fiesta in way above average condition with only 23,000 genuine miles on the clock from New, first registered on the 15.08.1983.
She’s a 957cc Popular Plus finished in Fords original Rosso red with black trim and unworn grey cloth interior.
She had two previous owners from new, in the same family, before I got a chance to buy the car, (A very rare opportunity) so I didn’t have to think twice!
I knew these Fiestas are rarely ever found in this condition as I have owned two mark one’s in the past, and I can state clearly that this car is 100% Solid all over, let me explain why……
The lady owner who had bought this car Brand new from the showroom decided to give up driving a few years later.
She put the car in Dry storage for many many years! until not so long ago her Grandson, (the second owner) decided to get her back on the road again.
He put her in for her first MOT after all those years and she only failed on minor things, front wiper blades not sweeping clearly, headlight beam to high, and the rear fog lamp.
Those jobs were completed and the car passed its MOT with No advisory notice issued, she is MOT’d until 23/10/2013, and has road Tax until 30/04/14
The engine runs great and pulls strong through all gears, always starting first time every time even on the cold winter mornings.
The clutch bites nice and low, the brakes are perfect, all tyres have loads of tread, and a few weeks ago she had a Full service, Inc Plugs, oil, filter, air filter, and coolant.
There are no dents or scratches on any panels and no stone chips on any of the windows, all lights etc are also original and have been on the car since day one.
Under the car, yet again perfect! All (Lightly) under sealed and in original condition, Never welded and will never need any what so ever, it would be a pleasure to show anyone the car so they can se how nice it is.
Features that add to her character are things like the foot pump on the floor for the washer jets! Unworn just like the original pedal rubbers.
The front seats are the type with no headrests, (There are seat belts in the rear)
This model has the black trim down the sides which go well against the red paintwork.
The rear window is heated, and looks to have the original dealership sticker in one corner.
The spare key looks unused, as does the spare wheel! the original wind up jack is in the boot.
This car was made with out a radio, and has never had one fitted, the car always makes me smile every time I drive it, and I get people admiring her and asking questions, sometimes even at the fuel pumps!
