Sellers original description:
1975 Mk1 Granada 3.0 Ghia Coupe, Manual, Ford Met Flame Orange/Copper, Classic ford Magazine feature car, very reluctant sale, the car was professionally restored, bare metal painted, the vinyl roof is original and in fine order, no bubbles or splits, very sound car, this is not a rot box full of filler and covered by glamorous paint, she is solid. the trim and paint is incredible and the whole car ooozze's pure 1970's and really does look the part.
I have spent thousands on this car, new petrol tank, new exhaust, 4 new white wall tyres, alloys professionally refurbed, brand new top tint windscreen made specially in Germany, new clutch less than 1000 miles ago, recon gearbox, new heads and valve seats, brand new carb, new water pump, new master cylinder, she drives a treat very comfy and soaks up bumps giving a smooth relaxed drive.
Everything works on the car as it should, the sunroof operates as it should. The interior is very very near mint, I will Inc in the sale 2 binliners full of genuine ford seat covers for a Mk1 Granada in the same material and colour, this would be hard to find should it need repair. The dash is mint the wood is lovely the carpets rooflining etc are mint.
there are small blemishes on the car, a small thumb nail size bit of wear on the drivers seat bolster, and a small 5p size bubble on the bottom of the drivers door.
I recently drove her to Santa Pod for the anual Classic Ford Fair, I did a total of 340 miles in boiling heat and she was excellent, and only used £70 in fuel! But that was at constant 60mph.
I have a folder full of recipts, and the magazine the car was featured in 2009, shortly after its restoration, she still looks fresh and crisp as it was a quality resto. The car still has its original dealer sticker and key ring.
This is one of the best Granada Coupes across Europe and is a crown stopping car.
This really is a one off car, it really is a thing of beauty.
