1929 Ford Model A Special Racer 3.3
Registration number: BF6127
Bought a while ago by a vintage car enthusiast, this car has had a small fortune spent on it to put it into tip top condition. The body is of polished aluminum with the brass fuel tank perched behind the drivers seat for easy immolation should things go wrong. Twin spares are mounted Peking Paris style on the back. The bonnet has a full quotient of louvers & the ubiquitous leather bonnet straps.
The car has had major work done recently to both axles, brakes & to the ignition & engine set up. The chassis has also been extensively tweaked to give taut precise cornering & good road-holding.
The car has a straight through exhaust which makes a throaty road fitting to the body work. The owner recently saw 68mph on his i-phone speedometer app whilst traversing the M25 motorway.
The car is now absolutely "on the Button" starting instantly & driving beautifully. It is a real attention getter & a delight to hurl down country lanes with abandon. It has many period features including the de-rigeur string bound steering wheel & outside handbrake. It is UK registered & ready to be pressed in to immediate hard use.
Amazing fun for the money.
