Just 34,242 Miles From New.
Totally Original Unrestored Condition.
Brief History from day one:
First registered by Bryan Brothers Of Bristol (Ford RS Main Agent) 09/01/1989 to a Ltd Co from Shrewsbury then changed hands 17/05/1989 to a Mr Wilton, at that point Mr Wilton was in his late forties and acquired the RS from his employers Bryan Brothers (Ford RS Main Agent) where he worked as a qualified senior mechanic up until very recently, Mr Wilton being a car enthusiast himself garaged the RS from day one and was never used in the winter or on rainy days when he preferred to cycle to work less than 2 miles away hence the very low mileage of 34242 miles from new
Mr Wilton having the very fortunate use of a Ford RS workshop changed the oil and filter every 1000 miles using original Ford parts and Mobile1 oil, Mr Wilton told me that the used oil was so clean that he would re-use the oil in his wife's car every year up until 2007 when for health reasons the RS was placed on sorn and not driven until i had the fortune to purchase the vehicle last summer,
I collected the vehicle in a covered transporter to protect the car and to protect its serviceable items that needed replacing because of lack of use since 07, i subsequently changed all of its filters and fluids inc cam belt, its covered less than 2 miles since, it was then placed in my storage facility for future investment, unfortunately I've run out if space so I've decided to sell this car and others to reduce my collection(The Bonkers Collection)
Needless to say the engine in this car is the best i have ever heard, it really does sound new, Mr Wilton also assured me that when he did use the car he would always leave it ticking over in the garage before he set off for that day to bring the engine and turbo up to running temperature
The vehicle has never been modified in any way, hence its superb engine and gearbox,
Exterior:
Retains all of its original panels from new, carrying all of its original factory stamped marks from new, all of its glass again is original from new,
The paint work is as new and completely unmarked as are all of its original wheels that carry original fitment Dunlop D40's which are in superb order
Interior:
Again the interior has had the benefit of very little sunlight and is completely unmarked condition including its uncracked dash and unmarked door panels, unmarked headlining and carpets like new throughout
Its Original radio cassette and amp are in place and in perfect working order, Mr Wilton took its security very serious hence the gear shift lock you can see in the pics, it looks ugly and can easily be removed if required
Under the bonnet:
Very clean indeed and unmarked as you would expect being maintained in a main dealer RS workshop from virtually new, again security was a must for Mr Wilton when he fitted a battery cut off switch that again looks ugly but can easily removed if required,
Underside:
As you would expect from such a low mileage car its completely are original and unrestored untouched condition, all of its components are very good as is the floor pan with its original factory finish you will also find the vehicle has had a longlife stainless steal exhaust fitted (2004) as standard fitment and size when new,
Paperwork:
All of its original paper work is intact together with its original handbooks, service book and wallet
