Very rare vehicle especially in this untouched condition and mileage. The vehicle in question is my Daihatsu Charade GTTI I have owned this vehicle for over 10 Years and I have cherished the vehicle it has never seen any rain or wet and has always been dry stored over winter protected by the thick customised cover I got made for it. In the last 5 years the vehicle has only been used once and the only reason I am selling it is because I simply don’t use it and I feel someone else devoted to these little cars can get pleasure from it like I do. The vehicle is only a 2 owner vehicle and it originally came from Gibraltar owned by a rally company who again only used it occasionally. The vehicle has only covered a genuine 24000 Miles (YES 24,000) and the condition of the vehicle bellies belief its pristine. The bodywork is totally original it has never had any paint and there is no rust anywhere, and I mean NONE! The paint is perfect, the car is still red, it hasn’t faded to pink it looks like it has just rolled of the production line. During the time in storage I run the vehicle up to temperature at least 4 times a year just to keep the engine lubricated and it never fails to start. The engine in question is perfect it uses no oil or water and runs and sounds brand new and pulling like it should, underneath the bonnet it is pristine in fact the gearbox and all the steel parts are still a golden colour as if they were still new, also the vehicle still has the original brake pads in from new and again the brakes are perfect.
The interior again is pristine the seats and dashboard unmarked in fact it still smells new..!!! It also has the full electric pack Electric Sunroof, Electric Windows and Mirrors.
I have with the vehicle a Full workshop manual from Daihatsu including the engine and chassis and the vehicle will also come with various spare parts.
When I purchased the vehicle I was told by the previous owner that this vehicle was equipped with an up rated Daihatsu ECU producing slightly more power I tried to find this out from Daihatsu but never got a definite answer, so some of you out there who know these vehicles more than I do may know about this.
The vehicle will come with 12 Months MOT as it hasn’t been tested since 2009, however the vehicle was started and driven today the first time for 5 years and it drove without fault. It is perfect.
This vehicle is now getting very rare and in this condition is impossible to find, and I can guarantee this will be the only one in the UK and possibly Europe in this condition.
