EXTERIOR:
After many years of searching, its fantastic to have our first AX GT in stock here at 4 Star. This car has been owned by the same family from new, passing from father to daughter and still wears its original coat of paint, which in its self is quite remarkable for a car of this age and nature. It has picked up a few stone chips and marks on the bonnet and the lacquer on the roof is wearing thin but the rest of the paint is very good and still has a deep glossy shine. All the red decals are present and correct and really give it that classic 80's hot hatch look. The plastic body kit is all in good condition and free from parking scrapes or fading and it still has its original Citroen mud flaps. All the lights and glass are in fine order with no bad chips or cracks.
INTERIOR:
The interior of the AX oozes 80's charm, with its red piped sports seats, dash and carpets. The condition inside really is excellent with no wear to any of the seats, door cards or carpets and in-keeping with the light weight build, everything is still well bolted together and working as it should. The boot area is perfectly clean, the sunroof bag still present and the spare alloy stowed away under the car.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION:
The car has an excellent service history and is in good mechanical order. The engine is very free revving and provides lively performance through the 5 speed box.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES:
The alloy wheels have recently been refurbished to an excellent original standard with black detailing and a diamond cut polished face. All the tyres are matching Michelins with 4mm on the fronts and 5mm on the rears.
HISTORY FILE:
The car has been in the same family from new, passing from father to daughter. There is a large file full of invoices showing that the car has been well serviced over the years, the last being done in March 2013. The original Citroen owners folder is still with the car containing the manuals, Laser immobiliser manual, spare key and touch up stick.
