Most trucks like this are low budget and welded together, and most start out as a beat up piece of rust to begin with. This truck started out as a nice original vehicle.
This Chevy needs nothing, except for a new owner!
This was Chevrolet's rival to the Ford F-100 pickup, and in my opinion is better looking. The truck runs, drives, starts and stops even better than it looks. The underneath is as clean and presentable as the body.
The GM crate motor has less than 5,600 miles on it since the rebuild. It is a 350 over 60 board out, 325 BHP, Chevy with a 750 CFM Edelbrock AFB. The transmission is a 700R4 GM 4 speed overdrive with heavy duty internal clutches and gears, a 2400 heavy duty stall converter, and a transmission cooler. It has a power master cylinder with discs up front and drums on the rear.
The exterior paint is a beautiful light turquoise that is approximately 2 years old. The truck is always garaged and covered. All of the chrome pieces are brand new, including front and back bumper, bezels, and mirrors. The pickup bed has all new oak flooring with the gas tank mounted under the bed floor. The steering wheel is tilt column. The wheels are 17" and brand new with all new tyres.
Nothing has really been spared in the build. All parts and components are top of the line name brand items.
I cannot stress enough how truly gorgeous this little truck is. This Chevy truck comes with ALL medals it’s won in various car shows over the years from coast to coast. I will list the positions and competitions it has entered tomorrow. It took a few years to re-build this Chevy and it’s built like a 2012 car. Its ready for car shows right away and would win hands down each time. It can also be used as a nice weekend driver. This Chevy won trophies for "best in class" in various categories ranging from performance, build and paint detail. It has at least 19 trophies. If anyone knows about American vehicles then they will know trophies are NOT handed out easily!! Competitions are extremely competitive!!!
