Here we have an extremely low mileage example of the excellent E39 5 Series, with only 36,000 miles from new all backed up by every MOT and every service receipt from new, all performed by BMW Main dealers.
This example is as close to a new E39 as you are likely to find, its in immaculate condition throughout.
The paintwork and bodywork are exceptional, no noticeable marks at all. Looking down the sides, across the bonnet and boot, it really is in amazing shape all over. The Artic Silver paintwork has a lovely deep all over shine. All the bumpers / lights etc all still have that factory fresh look, the glass on the front lights and fog lights are free from any scratches or marks etc, the Black trim hasn't lost its colour at all. This is a result of this BMW being properly cared for and garaged from new.
The wheels on this car are the SE BMW Spoke alloys. All are in excellent condition, all are fitted with matching quality Avon tyres. The spare wheel and tyre has never been used.
The interior condition is just as good as the rest of the car. The Black leather seats look and still smell like new. The complimenting wood trim is in excellent condition, no scratches or marks. The carpets and protecting BMW overmats are all still like new. The BMW floor mats have been protected by rubber mats from new, so its all been kept in amazing condition.
The specification on this car includes PAS, ABS, Traction Control, Multi Air Bags, Electric windows front and back, Electric and heated mirrors, Duel Zone Climate control / Air conditioning, Remote central locking / Alarm with 2 keys, Multifunction Steering wheel, BMW computer, Original BMW Stereo, Rear Parking Sensors, Full toolkit / Torch etc etc.
This model is fitted with the 2.5 straight six engine combined with the Automatic / Sequential gearbox. The engine starts and runs perfectly, just as you would expect for such a low mileage car. On tick over the engine is super smooth, this continues with smooth, effortless performance, the gearbox changing gears seamlessly. Good E39's are excellent to drive and this example does not disappoint. The whole car feels very tight, no noises from the suspension etc, just a reassuringly quiet and refined drive. These cars return surprisingly good fuel economy for such a well equipped car. This example is showing 29.5 mpg from mixed use, this rises to the high 30's on a longer run.
The paperwork with this car is excellent. We have every MOT and every Service bill from new, showing this car has always been looked after and cared for by BMW from new. There are no long periods of none use, its just been perfectly cared for and looked after by mainly one owner from new.
I am told by many of my customers that the E39 was their all time favorite BMW, many preferring them to the later BMW's. The E39 won many awards and this example still has that rock solid feel that some feel was lost slightly in later cars.
Obviously they don't make E39's any more, but if you are a fan of them, this is as close to finding a new one as you will find.
